"Life-changing Cookies"

"Oh man, these cookies are so good...I'm going to change my major"

These are quite the cookies! Martin came over for General Conference Saturday afternoon session to bake some of these cookies. What surprise me was that he and his roommate or friend made these up themselves!

I loved the cookies straight from the oven, it practically melted in your mouth. I had it with vanilla ice cream and it kind of reminded me of brownies and ice cream. It was the chewy 'chocolateness'. The yellow stuff you see in the middle was named, "Man-Jar." It's a sweet caramel center that took four hours to make. It was well worth the wait. I liked the "Man-Jar" a lot because it did not have the stickiness of caramel, but it had the essence of traditional caramel. After the cookies settled, it tasted like regular chocolate cookies....just with the caramel center.

Overall, I enjoyed this cookie, but I would not make it often. It's still super sweet, and unless you really love super sweet stuff, I would save this cookie for special occasions.
